Library Rules

General rules and code of conduct for the library
  1. Do not disrespect the books: Do not fold pages, remove pages or otherwise tear up or write in the books!
  2. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN talk in the library! However, please be kind and respectful of other patrons and keep the noise to a reasonable volume.
  3. Please don’t run. It startles the books and if you trip or run into something, they’ll be worried.
  4. Please don’t harass the library cat! She’s at work and needs to be able to do her own thing so we don’t have to fire her. (Really though, she’s nervous and likes to be left alone.)
  5. Be dressed! Have a shirt, shoes and pants on at all times. No one wants to see that.
  6. Having a beverage is fine so long as you’re careful, but please keep food out of the library!
